From Naples or Salerno airport, you can easily reach the railway station, using the Alibus service or flat-rate taxis, and from there take a SITA bus to Minori. SITA buses run frequently (every hour or so) and will allow you to admire the stunning landscapes of the Amalfi Coast on the way.\r\nPurchase your ticket in advance via the Unico app or at authorised retailers. Once in Salerno, you can buy it at the newsstand in the station. \ud83d\udccd The Roman Maritime Villa<\/h3>\r\nGiven the name of the Hotel, let's start with the monument par excellence of Minori: the Roman Maritime Villa.\r\nIt is located less than a five-minute walk from your hotel and we absolutely advise you not to miss it, as it immerses you in Minori's ancient history, revealing the splendour and refinement of Roman life on the Amalfi Coast. This majestic residence, built around the 1st century A.D., was a true architectural jewel, with rooms decorated with frescoes, mosaics and stuccoes depicting scenes of daily life, gods and landscapes.\r\n\r\nAt the centre of the villa stood the magnificent triclinium-ninphaeum, a luxurious room for banquets and social gatherings, where Romans would gather to celebrate and socialise. The baths, with their sophisticated heating systems, offered an oasis of well-being and relaxation. \ud83d\udccd The Hamlet of Villamena<\/h3>\r\nIf you love slow, meditative walks to discover the authentic essence of the places you visit, we recommend a pleasant excursion to discover the Hamlet of Villamena.\r\nFrom your location, proceed along Corso Vittorio Emanuele to the crossroads leading to the Minori cemetery.\r\n\r\nAt the crossroads, turn left and walk up Via Cesare Carola, taking one of the steps you will find on the way up. Along the way you will see the sign to reach the church of San Gennaro and Giuliano, which is located in the small square of the village of Villamena.\r\nThis slow ascent will lead you to this quiet little village, where time seems to stand still.\r\n\r\nThe church overlooking the square dates back to the 10th-13th centuries, with an architectural layout of evident Byzantine influence, later reworked in the Romanesque style. The interior, characterised by three naves and an apse, still preserves the original medieval structure, although enriched by 18th-century Baroque decorations. The Romanesque columns, partly incorporated into the pillars, and the barrel and cross vaults contribute to the evocative and solemn atmosphere.\r\n\r\nThe Oratory of Santa Maria delle Grazie, communicating with the church, features a single barrel-vaulted nave and rich Baroque decoration: externally, the dome features eight niches and a lantern, giving the building an elegant and refined appearance.
