🧭 How to reach

This accommodation facility is located in Minori, at 1/3 Via Villamena, a few steps from the seafront, the beach and the bus stop.

Minori is a quiet village and very easy to walk around: it is almost impossible to take a car to get from one point to another in the village, unless you have mobility difficulties.

In other words, if you choose Minori as the starting point of your trip, you will be staying in a quiet and secluded setting, where from anywhere you can reach what interests you in a few minutes.

The only downside is the availability of parking spaces: Minori is, among the towns on the Amalfi Coast, one of the least well-provided for. The good news is that at Casa Amorino you have the advantage of also having the possibility of reserving a parking space at a nearby car park that has an affiliated agreement with the structure.

Casa Amorino is also easily accessible by public transport.

🗺️ Things to see on your doorstep

As we have already told you, in Minori you have almost everything on your doorstep, especially if you stay in accommodation such as this, which is located in the central part of the town.
From Casa Amorino you are just a few steps away from some interesting attractions, which we will indicate below.

📍 The Roman Maritime Villa

About a five-minute walk from Casa Amorino, Minori's Roman Maritime Villa is a small treasure trove of history, art and culture: an often underestimated gem that connects us with our roots and our most ancient traditions.
Built in the first century A.D., this luxurious residence was originally intended for the rest and entertainment of a wealthy owner, attracted by the beauty of the place. The villa, overlooking the sea, was built on several levels and included rooms richly decorated with frescoes and mosaics, an inner garden with a pool and an imposing triclinium-ninphaeum, ideal for banquets and receptions.

The life of the villa continued for centuries, undergoing several restorations and adaptations, until it was abandoned and buried by floods.
Discovered in 1932, the villa is now an important archaeological site that we recommend you visit to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Rome and discover that the beauty of these places captivated even in ancient times.

📍 The Path of the lemons

From Casa Amorino, proceeding from Via Santa Lucia towards Via Pioppi and then taking Via Portatrici di Limoni, you reach the picturesque Path of the lemons, the ancient road that connects Minori and Maiori and that was once trodden by lemon transporters: they were incredibly strong women, who had the task of carrying the heavy baskets of lemons, for sale, down into the valley.
The small road, pleasant, quiet and not too hard to walk along, is the portal that gives you access to a little journey back in time: sheltered by low walls bordering the road, there are in fact some lemon groves, still lovingly cultivated today. It will not be difficult, along the way, to meet some locals at work.

The small road, taken from Minori, passes through the quiet village of Torre and proceeds in the direction of Maiori, passing by the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare, where we recommend a short stop.
A pleasant and relaxing walk, recommended at any time of year, but unmissable if you travel in spring or autumn, as you have the chance to enjoy it at its best, taking advantage of the pleasant mild climate and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
