If you dream of immersing yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Amalfi Coast or exploring hidden caves and swimming in crystal-clear waters, then this one-day boat cruise from Amalfi to Capri is the perfect experience for you!
A journey through dream landscapes, looking at the Amalfi Coast from the sea
You will depart from the port of Amalfi aboard a typical Sorrentine gozzo.
A welcome toast with prosecco wine will be the right “start” to your day of cruising, and you will set off immediately for the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella.
Here, immersed in an oasis of uncontaminated nature, you will enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters!
Your tour continues on to the beautiful island of Capri, where you’ll stop for approximately two and a half hours: you’ll have time to explore the picturesque alleyways of Anacapri, immerse yourself in the glamour of Marina Piccola, or visit the gardens of Villa San Michele.
You may also take the opportunity to ride the funicular railway and admire the breathtaking view from the Piazzetta, the beating heart of the island.
In the afternoon, you are scheduled to leave Capri, just in time for one last unforgettable stop: the Li Galli Islands.
These private islets, within the Marine Protected Area, will give you an oasis of peace and tranquility.
Here you can again swim in the crystal-clear waters, snorkel among the rich marine life and enjoy the silence of the surrounding nature.
Finally, you will return to Amalfi, just before sunset: just in time to end this day with a delicious aperitif in the midst of the typical and lively chaos of the Amalfi social scene!
📍 You can reach the starting point of your experience:
You start from the pier in Amalfi, which is easily reachable by public transport.
In fact, Amalfi is one of the easiest destinations on the Amalfi Coast to reach, as all buses and ferries to and from the Amalfi Coast depart and arrive from here.
You can reach the starting point of your experience:
✅ by Travelmar ferries, which depart daily from Salerno and Positano. The service provides fast ferries with a frequent service until 6pm.
From Salerno, the ferries stop at Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Minori and Maiori. The trip time from Salerno to Amalfi is about an hour, while from Positano to Amalfi takes about 25 to 30 minutes.
✅ with the SITA SUD bus service. Again, buses depart with good frequency from all the towns along the Coast: from Salerno and Positano the frequency is about one bus every hour. Buses stop at all the municipalities along the route, so you can travel comfortably from any town on the Coast.
Please note that tickets are not sold on board the buses: you can buy them at authorised retailers (bars and tobacconists) or by downloading the UNICO App.
✅ Travelling by car? Please remember that in high season there is a high chance of getting stuck in traffic, especially if you decide to travel at weekends. Public transport would be the most convenient option, but if you just can't do without your car and are wondering where to park, the largest and most convenient parking area in Amalfi is LUNA ROSSA, located after the tunnel between Amalfi and Atrani.
You can check the availability of parking spaces by using the app developed by the town council: just type "Info Parking Amalfi" into the search engine and in a few clicks you will immediately know if you can find a parking space in Amalfi's car parks.
In high season parking is not so simple: use it!
