📍 How to get to the tour starting point
To start this boat tour, you need to reach Positano or Praiano.
Much better if you are already in the area and are staying in one of the two towns.
If, however, you want to reach Praiano or Positano, you can do it in two ways:
✅ by Travelmar ferries: several trips leave from Amalfi from 9am until around 6pm. The ferry stops in Positano, but not in Praiano. We advise you to always check the availability of the service, since due to strong winds or bad weather, the company may suspend runs for safety reasons.
✅ By SITA SUD buses: from Amalfi take the ‘Positano - Sorrento’ line.
Praiano and Praiano are very tricky if you decide to travel by car: other than being taken by storm by tourists, especially from June to September, it is really difficult to find a parking space. Not to speak of the fact that the SS 163 is often treacherous, both because of the difficulty of driving along it, due to its bends and hairpin bends, and because of the traffic and traffic jams that sometimes characterise it, especially during peak periods (high season and weekends).
We recommend, therefore, that you prefer travelling by sea.
