🧭 How to reach

The Boutique Penthouse apartment is located on Via Capo di Piazza, just 100 meters from the beach. It also has a parking space.
Let’s take a look at how to get there.

✅If you’re traveling by public transportation

If t Naples Capodichino Airport, you’ll need to get to Naples Central Station.
You can do this in two ways:
🔹 by using the convenient and affordable Alibus service: buses run from 5:30 a.m. until midnight.
🔹 by taking a taxi, which offers fixed rates: for example, the ride from the airport to Napoli Centrale station costs around 20 euros. You can also use the Shared Taxi service, which allows you to travel by sharing the ride with other passengers, taking advantage of a lower fare (approximately 6 euros per person).

Once you arrive at Naples Central Station, you’ll need to head to the city of Salerno: you can do this by taking a train (Regional or Intercity); you’ll reach your destination in less than an hour.
Once in Salerno, you have two options for getting to Minori:
🔹 Sita Sud buses: you can take the bus to Amalfi at the stop located just outside the station exit, on the right. Buses run every hour, except on holidays, when service is reduced by half. You can find the bus schedules here.
You can purchase bus tickets at the ticket office inside the station or downloading the dedicated app.

📣 Check you bus timetables whenever you need!

🔹 On board Travelmar ferries: head to the Concordia Pier, which is about a ten-minute walk from the station. From there, you can reach Minori by high-speed boat, which will take you to your destination in about 50 minutes, allowing you to enjoy breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast from the sea.
This option is recommended, especially if you’re traveling during peak season, as it ensures a more pleasant and relaxing journey—and, above all, a shorter one—without the discomfort of the winding SS 163, full of curves and hairpin turns that can be hard on the stomachs of travelers unaccustomed to such roads.

✅ If you’re traveling by car

Reaching Minori by car can be a memorable experience, but it requires some planning, especially during the high season.
From the A1 highway, the most convenient exit is Angri. From there, continue toward the Chiunzi Pass and drive through Tramonti to Maiori. For a more scenic route, you can take the SS163 to admire the coastal scenery.
However, we recommend you take into account the heavy traffic, especially on weekends, and the alternate-day driving restrictions during the summer. The roads are narrow and winding and require careful driving, especially for those accustomed to wider, more spacious roads.

🗺️ Things to see on your doorstep

As we’ve already mentioned, you’re in a very convenient location that allows you to easily reach everything you want: from restaurants to other towns along the coast, you can truly do whatever you like, in total comfort.
In this section, let’s take a look at the attractions available in the immediate vicinity:

📍 The boardwalk, the beaches, and downtown

You’re just 100 meters from the beach and the boardwalk, so we’re happy to provide you with some more information about them.
Minori has 4 equipped beaches, as well as some public beaches, which offer free access and the pleasure of enjoying even just a few hours by the sea, without feeling the need to stay all day because you’ve rented a beach umbrella and deck chairs.
At the beach, you can also rent a pedal boat or a canoe.

The promenade, meanwhile, is sort of the locals’ hangout: this is where the laid-back summer bustle is concentrated, with a few stops at kiosks and bars.

📍 The Church of Santa Trofimena

Built in the 18th century on the ruins of a previous cathedral, the church, dedicated to the patron saint, stands out for its clean lines and the brightness of its interior, where light filters through the large windows, creating an atmosphere of peace and serenity. Inside, you can admire priceless artistic treasures, such as the altarpiece of the Crucifixion by Marco Pino da Siena.
But it is the crypt, hidden beneath the high altar, that reveals its full charm; a place of contemplation and deep spirituality, where the statue and relics of Saint Trofimena rest.

📍 The Roman Maritime Villa

If you’re in Minori, you absolutely must not miss the Roman Maritime Villa, located on Via dei Patrizi Romani, just a short distance from Boutique Penthouse.
Built during the reign of Tiberius, this luxurious seaside residence served as a retreat for the Roman aristocracy.
Excavated beginning in the 1930s, the villa has revealed a vivid picture of daily life at the time, with its sumptuous rooms decorated with frescoes and mosaics. The heart of the villa is the triclinium with a nymphaeum, a richly decorated dining hall where banquets were held. The baths, with their pools and heating systems, offered moments of relaxation and well-being. The garden, with its central pool and portico, was the ideal place to stroll and enjoy the view of the sea.
The Antiquarium, attached to the villa, houses a rich collection of archaeological finds, including ceramics, amphorae, fishing tools, and frescoes, which tell the story of this fascinating residence and its context.
Admission to the Roman Maritime Villa is free.

Good Friday, in particular, is an unforgettable experience: the streets, lit only by torches and candles, fill with the faithful following the procession of the dead Christ, enveloped in an atmosphere of contemplation and devotion.
If you love traditional customs, history, and spirituality, the Holy Week rituals in Minori are an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of local culture and enjoy an authentic experience.

Next to the renowned pastry shop, the Bistrot has recently opened, where you can enjoy a tasty pizza and many other appetizing dishes.

✅ Handmade pasta for a homemade dinner, to be enjoyed on the terrace
Throughout this article, we’ve mentioned the apartment’s beautifully furnished terrace several times.
The setting seems perfect for enjoying a delicious dinner with friends, prepared with your own hands.
Our tip as locals?
Since Minori has preserved the ancient tradition of handmade pasta, you could buy a nice tray of fresh pasta at the Pastaio located at Largo Solaio dei Pastai, just a few minutes’ walk from your accommodation.
What to buy?
If you want to try something truly typical, ask for ‘ndunderi minoresi: these are a type of gnocco made with ricotta added to the dough, giving them a unique texture and flavor.
Alternatively, you can also buy handmade “ricci” (fusilli): they’re delicious even with a simple tomato sauce, but you can get creative however you like.
