🧭 How to reach Hotel Splendid

Hotel Sole Splendid is located in Via Gaetano Capone, in a very central position in Maiori, and is waiting for you to enjoy an unforgettable experience. Reaching it is very easy, whether you decide to travel by public transport or by car.

By train or bus:

✅​ From Naples airport, take the ALIBUS to the central station and from there a train or bus to Salerno.

✅​ If you instead land at Salerno airport, you have several transport options to reach the city: the Salerno Airlink service offers a direct and fast connection to the railway station.

Alternatively, you can use the taxi service, with predetermined fares, for a more personalised transfer. In Salerno, many SITA buses will take you directly to Maiori.

It is a relaxing journey, during which you will already savour the atmosphere of the Amalfi Coast. To purchase tickets, we recommend downloading the Unico app. Alternatively, you can also find them on sale at the station newsstand, just outside the station. Buses to Amalfi run approximately every hour.

✅​ By ferry:
If you prefer a more suggestive experience, you can choose the ferry from Salerno (Molo Concordia, a 10-minute walk from the station). This option is available at certain times of the year (generally from spring to autumn).

Travelling by ferry makes the journey to your hotel even more enjoyable, as travelling by sea gives you the chance to admire the beauty of the coast from a different perspective on your way to Maiori. Connections are frequent, about every hour.

✅​ By car:
If travelling by car, follow the signs to Maiori. From the A1 motorway, take the exit for the Amalfi Coast and let the road guide you. Please note that the hotel has a private pay car park.

The beach is almost entirely equipped with chairs and umbrellas and served by numerous bathing establishments, which also offer restaurant services. So, if you decide to spend the whole day on the beach, you have the peace of mind of having everything you need at your fingertips.

📍Acquachiara beach

You are less than a ten-minute walk from Salicerchie beach (known as ‘Acquachiara’), said by locals to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the Amalfi Coast.
You reach it easily, proceeding along the SS 163: it is located a few metres after the imposing Torre Normanna.

Once you have crossed the 160 steps that divide it from the road, you will find yourself in a small strip of beach: a secluded corner, if you reach it early in the morning.
As we have already mentioned, it is considered one of the most beautiful and evocative beaches, precisely because of its clear, clean waters. For this reason, we recommend that you reach it early, as it may be crowded during the central hours.
