From here you are just a few steps away from some interesting attractions, which we will point out below.
📍 The Roman Maritime Villa
A few steps away from Desy's House, a hidden treasure is waiting to be discovered: the Roman Villa in Minori. Immerse yourself in ancient Rome as you stroll through the splendid mosaics and frescoes of this luxurious maritime residence. Built in the first century AD, the villa was a refuge for Roman nobles who appreciated the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Explore the rooms, the inner garden and the imposing triclinium-ninphaeum, and be transported back in time.
📍 The Church of Santa Lucia
Just a few steps away, you can admire the Church of Santa Lucia, dating back to the 10th century, when it was built together with a Benedictine convent. Over the centuries, this church has undergone several transformations, while retaining its original charm. Today, the Church of Santa Lucia fascinates visitors with its wooden choir, Baroque altar and the tomb of its founder, Giovanni Simone Palumbo.
At Christmas time, the space in front of the church hosts a beautiful traditional nativity scene.
