Orto Paradiso is a tastefully renovated old country house, where every detail has been carefully curated to provide you with maximum comfort. The spacious and bright rooms (available as doubles, triples, and quadruples) are furnished in a Mediterranean style and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay: air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a kitchenette, and, in many cases, a private terrace with a sea view. Whether you are a couple, a family, or a group of friends, you will find the ideal accommodation here to suit your needs.

The location of Orto Paradiso, although not right in the center, will be a strong point for those seeking absolute relaxation: away from the busier and noisier central areas, it allows you to enjoy restful peace without being too far from the beach and main services, which can be reached by walking down some steps or using the town shuttle service.

Finally, if you need advice and suggestions, the staff at Orto Paradiso are always available and friendly and will be happy to give you tips on what to see and do in the area. Additionally, if you have difficulty with your luggage, you can count on their valuable assistance.

🧭 How to reach

Orto Paradiso is located on Via Cesare Carola, in the upper area of Minori. It therefore requires a bit of walking (about 20-25 minutes from the center of Minori, at a comfortable pace). However, you can also reach it using the town shuttle, which runs several times during the day. Those traveling by car, on the other hand, will be happy to know that the property has private parking—a significant plus, considering the scarcity of parking in the area.

✅ If you are traveling by public transport.

Let's start by saying that getting to Minori by public transport is easier than you might think. Here is a concise guide to help you organize your trip in the best way.

🔹 From Naples Capodichino Airport
If you land in Naples, the first thing to do is reach Naples Central Station. You can do this comfortably with the Alibus, a shuttle service that connects the airport to the station in about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the station, take a regional train to Salerno. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Alternatively, you can take a taxi without worrying about excessive costs: taxis from Naples Airport operate on a fixed fare, and generally, the cost to reach Naples Central Station is around 20 euros.

🔹 From Salerno Costa d'Amalfi Airport
If you land in Salerno, you have two options: the Salerno Airlink shuttle bus, which takes you directly to the city center, or a taxi, which also guarantees the security of a flat rate.

🔹 From Salerno to Minori
As you may already know, the Amalfi Coast does not have a railway line: therefore, you can reach Minori in two ways:

The SITA buses that connect Salerno to all the municipalities of the Amalfi Coast depart from Via Vinciprova and stop right outside the station. To reach Minori, you need to wait for the bus headed to Amalfi, which runs once an hour, except on holidays, when the frequency is halved. The journey to your destination will take about 60 minutes: your stop will be after the Municipality of Maiori. In Minori, the bus makes two stops: yours is the second one coming from Salerno. You can purchase the ticket at the station newsstand or via the Unico Campania app.

🔹 The ferries: from Salerno station, in about a ten-minute walk, you can reach Molo Concordia, from where ferries depart for the Amalfi Coast. The ferry option is convenient and pleasant, as it combines the greater speed of traveling by sea with the opportunity to enjoy the spectacle of the Coast from a truly suggestive perspective. The ferries stop at Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Maiori, and Minori. Your journey from Salerno to Minori takes about 50 minutes.

📣 Check the availability of ferries, as, in case of adverse weather conditions or rough seas, sea trips may be temporarily suspended. You can book you tickets here.

✅ If you travel by car

Coming from Rome, you can take the A1 highway and exit at Angri. From there, follow the signs for the Chiunzi Pass and then for Maiori. For a more scenic route, you can opt for the SS 163, which runs along the entire Amalfi Coast. If you travel during peak season, keep in mind that you may encounter heavy traffic or congestion along the winding SS 163.

Also, remember that during the summer, there is an alternate license plate system in place to reduce excessive traffic and related complications along the route. Generally, travelers are allowed to reach their accommodations, but it’s a good idea to check with the property managers to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

One last but important piece of advice is to drive with caution: since the roads are narrow, winding, and made challenging by numerous hairpin turns, drive with the utmost care, avoiding distractions caused by smartphones and notifications.

🗓️ Events not to be missed

✅ Gusta Minori
If you’re looking for a unique experience that combines the beauty of the Amalfi Coast with a passion for good food and culture, Gusta Minori is the event for you.

Every year, the radiant town of Minori transforms for a weekend into an open-air stage where art, music, and gastronomy blend into a pleasant and festive atmosphere.
Imagine strolling through the town’s streets, admiring theatrical performances, tasting typical dishes, and listening to live music.
But beware: Gusta Minori is not just a simple festival—it’s an intense journey to discover the traditions and excellence of the town. You’ll not only get to taste the famous ’ndunderi, Minori’s typical fresh pasta, but also savor sweets and dishes made with the prized Amalfi lemon and purchase typical Made in Italy products.
An unmissable experience for food lovers!

✅ Holy Week Rites
If you plan your vacation around Easter, don’t miss the Holy Week Rites, which are part of the local traditions, rich in atmosphere and religious participation.
The highlight is the Good Friday celebration: a long procession of penitents winds through the town’s streets, singing sorrowful hymns in honor of the Dead Christ.
The procession takes place at dusk: for the occasion, all streetlights and city lights are turned off, leaving Minori’s streets and alleys illuminated only by torches and votive candles. The atmosphere is charged with emotion and pathos, heightened by the heartfelt and numerous participation of locals.
A moment of faith and tradition that keeps an ancient and extremely fascinating custom alive—we also talk about it in this article dedicated to Easter rites on the Amalfi Coast.

📌 Not to be missed if you are staying here

✅ Looking for an alternative aperitif? Here’s a tip from a local!
At Via Villa Amena 3, you’ll find Casa Amorino: a cozy, family-run accommodation with a wonderful and welcoming garden.
On summer evenings, this pleasant and tranquil green space transforms from 6 to 8 PM into a lively little spot to sip a perfectly crafted aperitif.
Trust us: the atmosphere is delightful, and the aperitif is truly excellent.
We recommend booking in advance.

✅ A truly typical dish? The 'ndunderi at La Botte restaurant
In Via Santa Maria Vetrana, you'll find a historic restaurant: its tables set in the alley already suggest a typical and picturesque atmosphere.

Indeed, at La Botte restaurant, you can taste an excellent plate of Minori-style 'ndunderi, prepared to perfection.

'Ndunderi are a type of fresh pasta typical of Minori: they resemble traditional gnocchi, but the dough is actually made with the addition of ricotta and cheese, which give it a more intense flavor and a different texture.

📣 This is a dish that, apparently, may have very ancient origins: if you want to learn more, read our article dedicated to the tradition of handmade pasta on the Amalfi Coast.

✅ A liqueur you can only find in Minori
Yes, we know you're familiar with classic limoncello, and it will likely be among the first things you'll taste when you're in the area.
But if you want to take advantage of your stay in Minori to try something truly local, buy a bottle of Cicerenella liqueur, made with anise, orange peel, and lemon peel.

There's certainly some other secret ingredient in the recipe, but it's jealously guarded by Mrs. Carmela D’Amato, who invented it based on her passion for homemade liqueurs and rosolios.

📣 Speaking of limoncello and liqueurs, here's an interesting deep dive!
