Antica Reghinna Luxury Room

Minori is, among the towns of the Amalfi Coast, the one that can assure greater tranquillity even during the high season. This is mostly due to the absence of the mass tourist flow that during the peak months characterise the more iconic and well-known destinations, such as Amalfi, Ravello and Positano.

This delightful little town, in fact, is the favourite destination for those who demand from their holiday total relax and the chance to discover a slower and more quiet and meditative lifestyle: the occasion, in short, to disconnect from the stress of urban life, made up of city traffic and races against duties and tasks to complete.

If you are looking for a place to spend your holiday in Minori, Antica Reghinna Luxury Room offers you everything you could ask for in an accommodation facility: a central location, beautiful, spacious rooms with every comfort, and a rich and abundant breakfast to start the day with a smile on your face.

The rooms at this establishment are all spacious and bright, with an attention to furnishings and embellished with stylish details, such as colourful tile or marble floors, that make the experience even more special.

It will also be useful for you to know that a shuttle service to the airport is available and there is the possibility of hiring a bike.

Speaking of parking, Antica Reghinna Luxury Room also offers its guests the possibility of reserving a parking space at a partner car park.

These features, combined with the rich breakfast buffet (Signora Anna’s cakes are highly appreciated) and the option of walking to all places of interest, make these rooms the perfect solution for combining relaxation and comfort, in the name of an unforgettable holiday in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.

You can also reach nearby Maiori on foot, in about 15-20 minutes.

It is therefore very easy to reach, especially if you travel by public transport.

✅ If travelling by public transport

🔹 From Naples airport, you can easily reach the central station by using the ALIBUS buses or the affiliated taxi service. From Naples Central Station, you can travel on an Intercity train or bus to Salerno: runs are frequent and the travel duration does not exceed 50-60 minutes.

🔹 If, on the other hand, you arrive at Salerno Airport, you can choose between two options: the Salerno Airlink shuttle bus, perfect for getting to the centre easily and cheaply. Alternatively, you can take a taxi, which is especially convenient if you are coming from a long journey and are travelling with children: taxis from Salerno airport have fixed and reduced fares.

Once you reach the station, since the Amalfi Coast does not have a railway line, you can travel on the SITA buses to Minori The SITA Sud buses leave approximately every hour from the terminus located in Via Vinciprova and stop at all the towns on the Amalfi Coast.
You can wait for your bus right outside the station: at the exit, you will see a bus shelter on the right, a few metres away, where you can wait for your bus to Amalfi and stop, after about an hour's journey, in Minori.
The town has only two bus stops: yours is the second, coming from Salerno.
You can buy tickets by downloading the Unico App, or at the kiosk in the station.

🔹 Ferry: from Salerno, you can take the ferry, a convenient and fast option that allows you to reach your destination without the risk of traffic along the SS 163. 📍 The Roman Maritime Villa

Discovered almost by chance in 1932, the Roman Maritime Villa in Minori is an archaeological gem that transports us back to ancient Rome. This luxurious residence, dating back to the 1st century AD, once offered its noble owners an oasis of peace and well-being. Inside, you can admire the majestic triclinium-ninphaeum, the heart of the villa, where banquets and social gatherings were held.
The reception rooms, decorated with frescoes and stuccoes, testify to the elegance and refinement of the rooms. The thermal sector, with its tepidarium and calidarium, was a place dedicated to the well-being of body and spirit.

Finally, the antiquarium houses a rich collection of archaeological findings that allow us to reconstruct the daily life of the ancient Romans. The villa, which covered an area of about 2500 square metres, was surrounded by a large garden, the viridarium, where the owners could stroll and relax. 🗓️ Events not to be missed

✅ The Gusta Minori
The Gusta Minori is an unmissable summer event that transforms Minori into an open-air stage where art, culture and cuisine merge into a single experience. This festival, which takes place every year between late August and early September, promotes the traditions and excellence of the area. Through the streets and squares of the town, theatrical and musical performances, tastings of local products, such as the unforgettable ‘ndnderi, and moments of conviviality alternate. The atmosphere is festive and welcoming, and the event represents a unique opportunity to discover the beauty of the Amalfi Coast and immerse oneself in its culture. Beware, however: Gusta Minori is not a sagra, but a journey into the heart of tradition, a gastronomic and cultural experience that involves all the senses, imprinting itself long in the memory.

📌 Not to be missed if you are staying here

As good locals, here are some tasty tips to make your stay even more exciting and richer.

✅ Taste a nice plate of ‘ndunderi minoresi
The ‘ndunderi minoresi are much more than a simple pasta dish. We are talking about a local dish that we identify as a true journey through time, an immersion in the history and culture of the Amalfi Coast. This type of pasta, similar in shape to gnocchi but differing from them due to the presence of some ricotta cheese in the dough, dates back, according to tradition, to ancient Rome, when the Coast was already a popular destination for patricians.

In fact, as we also recount in this article, the Costiera boasts a long pasta-making tradition, which has been preserved in ‘ndunderi and the typical handmade ricci (fusilli).

Today, the ‘ndunderi are a symbol of Minori's culinary tradition and are prepared for special festivals and celebrations. Their preparation, which requires time and patience, is an art that has been handed down from generation to generation. In Minori you can enjoy delicious ones at Ristorante La Botte.

✅ Breakfast and dessert at the pastry shop of master Sal De Riso
A visit to Sal De Riso's pastry shop in Minori is an unmissable experience, especially if you are a pastry lover and wish to savour the authentic essence of Amalfi Coast. Located in a charming position, right on the seafront, the pastry shop offers a wide range of sweets, from traditional Neapolitan classics to the master pastry chef's most innovative creations. From the famous Ricotta e Pera cake to the delicate lemon caprese, every bite is a sensory journey through the scents and flavours of the Amalfi Coast.

In addition to pastries, Sal De Riso also offers a rich selection of savoury products, ice creams and liqueurs, all made with top quality ingredients and following ancient traditional recipes.
