🧭 How to reach

The Fruit Flats are located in Piazza Ettore e Gaetano Cantilena, a central location in Minori, just 50 metres from the sea.

Reaching your destination is really easy, whether you travel by car or by public transport.

✅ If you travel by public transport

Once you arrive at Naples airport, reach the central station by travelling on the small ALIBUS buses, which will take you to your destination in just a few minutes. If you have a lot of luggage and prefer greater comfort, you will find numerous taxis at the airport exit that provide services at fairly affordable flat rates.

When you arrive at the Napoli Centrale station, you can reach Salerno by travelling on an Intercity or Regional train: the journey time will not take more than 50/60 minutes. Alternatively, from Via Depretis, a short distance from the station, you can take a Sita bus: in this case, runs approximately every thirty minutes or every hour, depending on the time slot. The bus takes about 60 minutes to reach the city of Salerno.

Once in Salerno, you have two alternatives:

🔹 the Sita Sud buses, which connect Salerno to all the towns on the Amalfi Coast and leave approximately every hour from the terminus in Via Vinciprova. The journey from Salerno to Minori takes about 60 minutes. Along the way, you can admire splendid views of the landscape, seen from above. We recommend that you purchase tickets at the station newsstand or through the Unico App. If you suffer from motion sickness, take anti-emetic medication, as the length of the journey and the curves may put a strain on your stomach.

🔹 Travelmar ferries, which depart from Molo Concordia, not far from the station (about a 15-minute walk, taking into account any luggage you may have to drag).This option is definitely our favourite, because, besides making your journey shorter, it allows you to immediately immerse yourself in the holiday atmosphere: travelling by sea, you can admire the entire stretch of coastline from Salerno to Minori. The journey in this case takes about 50 minutes.

✅ By car:

If you decide to reach the Amalfi Coast by car, take the A1 motorway and follow the signs for the Amalfi Coast. On arrival you won't have to drive crazy looking for parking because the hotel has private parking spaces reserved for guests.

Minori proudly preserves the ancient tradition of the chanting of the ‘battenti’.
The singing of Minori's Battenti is a unique expression of faith and tradition that has its roots in the distant 14th century.

This tradition, handed down orally from generation to generation by the Arciconfraternita del SS. Sacramento (Archconfraternity of the Blessed Sacrament), represents one of the oldest and most evocative rituals of the Amalfi Coast. During Holy Week, particularly on Holy Thursday and Good Friday, the Battenti, hooded and girded with ropes, walk the streets of the village intoning lamenting and penitential songs, divided into two tones: ‘e vascie’ and ‘e ncoppe’.

These songs, which narrate the Passion of Christ, are an intangible heritage of inestimable value, recognised and protected nationwide. Their origin is shrouded in mystery, but it is believed that the melodies are very old, dating back to the Baroque period, while the texts, handed down orally, were composed later. The performance of these songs, in an atmosphere of deep spirituality and recollection, creates a unique and moving experience for participants and the many spectators who crowd the streets of Minori every year.

From your location, you are very close to the Mansi liqueur factory, located in Minori's main street. Here you can taste Cicerenella liqueur, made from aniseed and oranges: as it turns out, you can only taste it here, because it is a liqueur whose recipe is jealously guarded by Mrs Carmela D'Amato, its creator.

✅ A nice plate of ‘ndunderi
The ‘ndunderi are a type of fresh pasta, similar in appearance to large gnocchi, but characterised by flavour and texture, thanks to the presence of ricotta in the dough.

It is an authentic traditional dish: a remnant of the ancient pasta-making tradition that characterised the Amalfi Coast in ancient times.
