✅ If travelling by public transport

🔹 If you arrive at Naples airport, you can reach the central station by ALIBUS or taxi. From there, you can take a train or bus to Salerno, a journey that takes about 50-60 minutes. Alternatively, you can also opt for the Sita Sud bus, which leaves regularly from Varco Immacolatella and also stops near the central station. If you prefer an even faster option, consider the direct Sita Sud bus that connects Naples airport with the Amalfi Coast; check the timetable on the Sita Sud website.

🔹 From Salerno airport, you can reach the city centre using the Salerno Airlink shuttle bus or a taxi.
Once in Salerno, the most convenient and economical way to reach Minori is by SITA bus. Buses depart regularly from the station and will take you straight to your destination. You can buy your ticket in advance with the Unico app, at newsstands in the station.
The bus only makes two stops in Minori: yours is the second. From the stop, take the Santa Lucia alley, which is just a few steps away: in a few minutes you will be on the doorstep of your flat.

If you prefer a more suggestive experience, you can choose the Travelmar ferry. Leaving from Molo Concordia, a ten-minute walk from the station, you can enjoy a journey of about 50 minutes admiring the splendid view of the Amalfi Coast. The ferry stops at the landing stage in Minori: from here, proceed along the main street and reach your destination in about ten minutes.

✅ If travelling by car

If travelling by car, take the A1 motorway from Naples and follow the signs for the Amalfi Coast, passing through Maiori and arriving in Minori. You will find a car park that has an agreement with the structure. Keep in mind that the coastal road, especially in high season, can be busy, so we advise you to use a satellite navigator and to set off a little early, proceeding at a leisurely pace and avoiding using your smartphone while driving.

✅ The sawdust carpet during Holy Week
In Minori, Holy Week is coloured with art and devotion thanks to the traditional sawdust carpets. Skilfully crafted by local artists, these masterpieces depict scenes from the Passion of Christ, becoming a focal point of the religious celebration.

Each year, a new theme inspires the creation of these carpets, which are the result of painstaking work and deep spiritual reflection. In addition to their aesthetic beauty, the sawdust carpets also convey messages of hope and rebirth, inviting the devotees to meditate on the Easter mystery. Simple materials such as sawdust and coloured pigments are used to make these artefacts, testifying to the fact that this is an ancient tradition, handed down from generation to generation, keeping Minori's faith and culture alive.
If you come to Minori during the Holy Week, don't miss the sawdust carpet, on display at the Basilica of Santa Trofimena.
